I had a bad reaction to ropinerol for restless leg syndrome. Made me itch something fierce from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. Switched to mirapex and is better, but not perfect. Take atarax to manage the little bit of itching I have now one to two times a week. Also helps me sleep. Take omeprazol a few times a week to manage Gerd, which is due to a significant hyatal hernia. Had to switch from lisinopril to norvasc because it was causing a cough. Sounds like we have been on the same pharmaceutical trail. I have found the Vicks Vaperrub on my feet and wearing diabetic socks helped my restless legs immeasurably. If it doesn't work for you, at least it was cheap. Relieves my neuropathy too.

I like to use diabetic socks because they are looser on my legs. Regular socks tend to bite into my "massive" legs so to speak. When my restless legs starts to kick in, I usually feel it in my hips, they want to draw up on me, so annoying.

It's cheap and effective for me.
