Does anyone smoke a blend that contains PG? What's that like for you? I smoke Captain Black Original and you can definitely tell that it's there...it doesn't really bother me, however. Some people say that it's present in many tobaccos on the market.

It’s pretty much the standard humectant in the tobacco industry, has been for a long time now and the carrier for flavorings in most toppings. It would probably be easier to come up with a list of tobaccos that don’t have it than do. The ones off the top of my head that are PG free would be:
Gawith Hoggarth & Samuel Gawith Vincent Manil Semois Certain Daughters and Ryan blends
I’m sure there are others, but I’m not thinking of them at the moment.
It’s also present in a wide variety of foods, cosmetics, medicines, wines, etc. it’s a very long list.

I can detect it in feel and in quality of taste. I do smoke some blends that use pg but the vast majority of what I cellar is pg free. I could compare it to food. Sutliff pg soaked tobacco is like fast food, while something like semois or gawith is like eating organic for me

I’m not one who can claim to detect it. Maybe that’s just because I almost never smoke anything that doesn’t have it. I’ve got some semois around here somewhere, but I don’t smoke much G&H or SG.

Unfortunately, it ruins many blends for me. You'll see me, mostly, posting D&R, 5 Brothers or my own whole-leaf blend. Otherwise, I'm primarily a cigar smoker now.

I have some for the motorcycle radiator. Otherwise I don't worry about it.

I have some for the motorcycle radiator. Otherwise I don't worry about it. That would be ethylene glycol.

I vape pg vg and nic and flavoring Really. I don't taste it and I don't look for it. I'm absolutely sure that something else will do me in.
