Peretti Blend no. 52 in a Castello billiard. My wife brought me this from a Boston business trip a few years back, and I lost track of it in the back of the cellar. Glad I dug it out. I’ve developed a taste for burley based blends, and this is a nice comfortable smoke as the drizzle moves in ahead of tonight’s storm.

Friar's Bayou in a Barling Garnet Grain 1/4 bent Dublin. Hi Pete, I’ve seen you mention Friar’s Bayou a number of times but am unfamiliar with that blend. Is that your own blend? Thanks!

Yeah, it's a blend of C&D Three Friars, Low Country Virginia Burley and C&D Bayou Morning. About a 45:30:15 raio.

Decided to give the honest answer, just in case someone actually wanted to try it. The extra zing comes from the perique in the Bayou Morning.

Jumped the gun on the whole bedtime thing. Another bowl of Haunted Bookshop in the Monday cob. Reminds me I'm still waiting to hear from the insurance company on my new sleep med. Anyway, I'm still working on the same bowl of LBF. This pipe has a deep chamber.

Good Morning! It's 30° here with a cloudy sky right now. The big adventure for this afternoon will be a supermarket run. Getting the smoking day started with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the BBB Two Star Special smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Picking up from last night, Peretti 52 in an Upshall Apple. Sipping my coffee and enjoying being on this side of the window as a dull rain falls along the shoreline. It’ll be a shorter dog walk than usual this morn. Hope you all enjoy your day.
