Who has (or maybe I should say, who doesn't have) a liking for some things that are perfectly legal, perfectly harmless ... just maybe a smidge embarrassing to fess up to?
I'll go first, since I asked.
Cheap drugstore cigars. I'll go a year or two without smoking a cigar; they're just not my thing. But when I do get a taste for one, it's likely to be a Backwoods cheroot, a Rum Crook (are those even made any more?) or a Swisher Sweet.
Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey. I understand this is regarded as an abomination in some quarters; in fact, I read a piece by someone whose taste I respect who used that exact word. But several months ago I bought one of those little plastic ounce bottles out of curiosity, and lo, I found I liked that whiskey-and-cinnamon taste. I don't know if I'll make it a regular thing, but I won't turn up my nose at it either.
I could go on; my roster of questionable taste is in fact fairly long; but we'll stop at two, for now.

I am very particular with pipe tobacco and even cigars. But I do enjoy a honey berry backwoods.

I'll smoke most anything and I like whiskey. But I draw the line at Fireball. I like Bushmills Honey and that's about it for flavored whiskey. And then only as cold medicine. I smoke chocolate flavored cigars. , 🫢

I can’t think of anything in the smoking category that I would find embarrassing if anyone knew. Same with booze. The only thing that comes to mind for me is I love Turkish Delight. Everyone around me thinks I’m crazy and I hide it so I don’t have to hear the comments, but I love the taste of roses. I occasionally eat the flowers too.

My current box is rose, lemon and orange. My son likes it too.

I enjoy watching reaction videos on YT. Maybe it's just because I didn't have my own kids to introduce to the music and movies I love, but I enjoy watching young people discover them.

It's kind of amazing to watch someone sit down to watch "Casablanca" or something by saying "I've never seen a black & white film, before," then watch them enjoy the heck out of it and say at the end, "After a few minutes, I forgot it was b&w and just got absorbed in the story."

African American people listening to Metallica. Young people listening to old artists. Johnny Cash's last song comes to mind.

Music these days is gridded and autotuned and all that nonsense, but it's not because that's what young people want. It's because it makes life easy for producers. Young people discover Led Zeppelin or Terry Kath-era Chicago or Sam Cooke and say, "Why doesn't our music sound like this??" They know good when they hear it. They've just been fed a steady diet of half-music all their lives. Now, some of the reaction videos are just people saying what they think old people or white people or black people or whatever want them to say. They're just fishing for views, subscriptions, and likes. Those are pretty easy to spot.

Seeing a deserving person get ticketed brings me pleasure...kind of embarrassing to smile at someone's misfortune I suppose.
The context that I speak of is when I see someone driving Helter Skelter, and pulling off dangerous stunts putting me and others in peril.
Last week, I was on a two lane highway and a couple with two kids passed me in a no passing zone, if the oncoming tanker and I did not brake (which you don't want to necessarily do in case they realize the danger and brake also), it would have been a horrific crash. Later down the road, they were getting ticketed by an Arizona State Trooper, I wish there was a way to convey the fact that they were guilty of reckless endangerment to five others besides the couple.
I did throw a pumped fist though, in my best McCauley/Home Alone impression.

Don’t go much in town nowadays, but people driving faster than they should in parking lots always irked me, old folks, young children are in danger of darting out, just pisses me off! Sorry off topic I apologize!

For whatever reason, traffic laws are basically just no longer enforced around here.

Pretty much the same here, rarely do people seem to get pulled over. In some instances, I see blatant red light runners do it in front of a cop.

I still lurk here fairly frequently. I don’t have a lot to add. But, when someone posts about White Castle, I’m here for it. I don’t have a White Castle ANYWHERE near me, since I’m in Maryland, and miss it desperately.

After I broke my jaw in 71, I lived on a liquid diet for over 6 weeks while my teeth were wired. White Castle was the first solid food I had. That was in Austin and I'm pretty sure it closed decades ago. There aren't any in Texas now. We have Krystal, which is basically the same, but I don't live within 200 miles of one.

The better half and meself often share a Mickey Ya Ya's large fry when out and about. Just hot from the frier nothing else comes close.
