Where do you smoke your pipe? For me, it's the rear covered porch.

In my living room. Occasionally in the kitchen and bathroom, but only if I need to do something there when I’m smoking. Never in the bedroom.

Primarily in the back room I call the office as that's where my computer is.

Mostly while setting in my recliner. Occasionally on the front or back porch.

This time of year, in the subterranean smoking lair (the basement lounge) and the car when out and about. During the warmer months, it's front porch and back yard.

Back patio. A small area of it is covered. It's just big enough for a chair and a small table, and to keep me out of the rain if it isn't blowing much.

My wife hates pipe smoke and our lease prohibits smoking in the house. I always smoke in the backyard workshop or on the deck sometimes in the warmer weather.

Depending on which location I’m at. I never smoke in the house. Chicago, backyard or on the driveway in front of the garage. And in the winter, it’s usually a cob in the driveway, when I let the dogs out. Don’t get to many cigars in the winter. Unless I go to a lounge. In Florida, it is on the lanai.

I have a covered front porch which answers quite nicely for a smoking room. See the avatar photo.

Porch + rocker = happiness x 2 In the South, if it's a screened in porch, make that x4.

I smoke pretty much anywhere convenient, although prefer outdoors in warmer weather, except for green head fly season, when I’ll be indoors. I’m lucky that my wife not only enjoys pipe smoke but encourages my hobby.

Primarily in the back room I call the office as that's where my computer is. Most of my smoking is write here at the computer also...the desk is in a corner of the greatroom that puts me within reach of the kitchen table{ for my coffee and drying tray} and the doors to the back porch{ for my job as "Doggy Doorman}so I can check the weather and watch the birdfeeders. Both the back porch and the new front porch have swings, so as the spring draws near I'll be on one or the other, enjoying a good smoke.

Wherever I want as my Father-in-law chain smoked a pipe when my wife was growing up and she likes the smell of a pipe. Back when I smoked cigarettes too, those had to be outside but the pipe has always been fine inside. As a bonus, I work from a home office.

Skeeters don't scare me. (Actually I despise them, but a bit of a breeze flowing across the deck will sort of keep them at bay).

I can tolerate the mosquitoes, but I hate the horse flies.

Wherever I can!
Usually in the kitchen… windy as hell in Vegas Monday night, so no smoking at the Best Western. Laid over at the Railroad Pass Casino in Henderson last night… nice to be able to smoke indoors. I saw something I had not seen in years, a cigarette vending machine.
5:10 to Yuma tomorrow.

Horsefly bites are thoroughly unpleasant. Do you know they will follow you, waiting for a chance to bite you? It's like a military drone. The only way to stop it is to kill it, or wear yourself out making it too much trouble. I have gone into the house for an hour and when I came back out there he was.

I can tolerate the mosquitoes, but I hate the horse flies. There’s a progression in flies emerging from the salt marshes: gnats/midges in May, Strawberry flies in June, Green Heads in July and August, and lastly dragon flies. We throw a party when the dragon flies show up. Some seasons it’s so bad you really can’t be outside; I’ve been in my idling car and just have them swarming into the windows trying to get at me. One summer I could barely get Jupiter to leave the house. These days we retreat inland to our main house during June and July, and just have to contend with the mosquitoes….
