I couldn’t resist trying this beast of a pipe out, feels like I’m holding a bludgeoning weapon rather than a pipe. I’m smoking Sutliff Crumble Kake No. 4 in it.

Bald Headed Teacher in a Brebbia apple, after a busy morning...two trips to the bank, and the yearly vet trip with both dogs is about all I can handle in one day. Bald headed teacher was a favorite of one of the members of Morley’s pipe club. He shared some of it with me at one of the meetings, I enjoyed it a lot, and then promptly forgot about it. I’ll have to add some of that to my list.

Hope everyone’s had a great week. Been a busy one but I’ve managed to smoke several bowls of 2022 Best Brown Flake #2 last weekend in cobs and a Kaywoodie Saxon sandblasted panel. Smoked Peter Stokkebye 41 cube-cut burley in a couple cobs, Mac Baren Symphony in a St. Regis straight pot, and 2020 Opening Night Flake in a 1980’s Merkur 2000 volcano. I’m currently smoking some 2022 C&D Habana Daydream in a Viking Classic large bent Dublin and drinking a Aecht Schlenkerla oak smoked smokemalt Doppelbock beer. Keeping it extra smokey. Also smoked a Plasencia Riserva cigar a couple days ago. Edit: Will take me a bit to go back through but I see turbocat also has a Viking pipe. I only have the one I’m currently smoking but it’s a great pipe.

Boswell's Sweet Tea in an estate Tilshead Dublin: That is a beautiful pipe!!! Thanks, William! The rim is a bit scorched, as you can see, but not too badly. The stem is a replacement, but I don't care about that kind of stuff. I feel lucky to have found it.

Bosun Cut Plug in a Peterson billiard. I love Lakelands. One of my all time top five tobaccos. I love the stuff and have at least five pounds of it, both plug and cut plug. In thinking about it, I haven’t smoked any for a little while, I think I will this evening.

Friar's Bayou and Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob while traversing the suburbs for the fish fry and a nearby gin joint for afters. Now, it's Pegasus in a self-made bent billiard while watching a dumpster fire of a hockey game.
