Curmudgeon on the Can in my Savinelli Collection 2015 Smooth Natural bent Panel (#28 of 66). Nice squared apple. I do actually have a Cayuga 6 Panel Apple:

How did the crab cake fare Pete? What was used for the binder? It barely held together. It definitely needs something more than an egg . Next time, I'll use a little panko, crushed crackers or almond flour. Trying to limit the carbs. They tasted good, though, and was a filling meal. An unsolicited suggestion, Chana flour (chickpea) sold at all Indian grocery stores, binds great and the flavor doesn’t clash. Works great as a replacement for flour/carbs in many things.

Is there an Indian grocer near us?

Good question, there’s one on Van Dyke just south of 696, I can’t remember the name of it, but it’s a pretty good, if small store. I can’t remember seeing one further east. I’m in Troy for business fairly often so I always go to Patel Brothers on Rochester at Long Lake.

Good Saturday Morning! It's 31° here with a cloudy sky and the sleet has just stopped. Everything is wet from overnight rain and will get icy. This afternoon I have to make a supermarket run to get blah blah and ice cream. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Savinelli Venere 128 rusticated billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a great weekend everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's 30° here with a cloudy sky and warmer temperatures are on the way for next week. Currently smoking a bowl of fresh Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake in the Sav rusticated billiard. The tobacco is on the moist side so I need to smoke it slowly in order to avoid bite. Time to sip more coffee and check the headline news.

Just finishing up the Hobbit on TV. I've been up since 1am. It's time to smoke some Rattray's Jocks Mixture and just reflect on life's events...My daughter goes to College (RIT) next year and I'm already missing her. I'm trying to stay in the moment, but it's a hard task...All will be fine. This Rattray's is really good stuff, it isn't one of the more popular, but I find it to be the best in the line. Join me in a smoke as we celebrate warmer weather to come and good health for our loved ones.

Currently smoking a bowl of Scottish Flake in the Sav rusticated billiard while sipping my coffee and watching a hokey 1959 sci-fi movie, "The Incredible Petrified World" with horror movie star John Carradine. I'll finish this pipe and then head back to the house.

Happy Saturday all.
We’re having a downpour here in the Mid Atlantic. Not much to do today but watch the rain fall. I’ll probably channel Russ and watch some old B horror movies.
Smoking a bowl of Silver’s Friar’s Bayou in a Loewe and Co. billiard. Have a great weekend friends!

Nightcap on porch watching wife go to town with her mini chain saw, she’s dangerous with that thing. My wife has one too, and I also stay out of her way when she's working with it....it's 48 and everything is soaked from last night's downpour. I'm smoking Super Value Black and Gold in a Kaywoodie freehand, and sipping coffee from the one-hitter.

Mixed a little Green River Black Cavendish with my Z92. A nice basso result. Burns well with no bite.
