Clouds just rolled in. Looks like that's it.

The moon's passing into the lower right quadrant here. Light clouds moving in.

It's starting to get dim here, too. Gonna go check on it.

Got a nice crescent going. The shadows are changing, more like late afternoon. It's dropped a couple degrees.

It was extremely cloudy until 30 seconds before max couldn't see anything with the glasses. Was going in the house and looked up and it looked like a star, tiny spot of light. Looked away and looked back at the exact time of the totality. About 5 seconds I saw the ring around the moon. I'm satisfied.

Now the clouds cleared away. What weather! I can hear thunder in the distance but nothing here. Looking at a nice thin crescent. 🌒

We had about 75% coverage ... pretty cool. 😎

We've passed maximum and it's noticeably brighter and the birds have resumed their chatter and activities.

We just passed 100% totality but the corona wasn't visible because of some cloudiness. The crescent sunlight was a yellowish orange color and, at totality, all there was just a black hole in the sky. We got our money's worth!

This was the view from South Jersey. I envy you guys who were in the path of totality. Must be quite eerie.

My son elected to stay at the house in Michigan while the gang headed south for an expected 4 hour round trip. He is enjoying the peace and quiet so it's all good.

Viewing was great in Van Wert, OH. High, thin cloud layer which did not diminish the view. Phone camera pics did not turn out well.
A great, fun day but the ending was a bit dampened by witnessing a couldn’t have been anything other than fatal one car accident happen a hundred yards ahead of us on I-69 (and no cars between us) 70mph head on into the V point of reinforced guard rails at an off ramp. No brake lights were seen by either of us. 911 has our names and phone number if the police need to talk to eye witnesses.

Some that you had to see that.

Sad. Somebody momentarily distracted, probably. Maybe looking up at the sky, maybe at their phone, who knows. Hopefully you don't get drawn any further into it.

Seen many highway fatalities over the years, never gets any easier...so many times it is avoidable and makes me sad for the innocents.... I was the first one on the scene with 3 dead kids years ago (all under 5), and it still haunts me.

Too much cloud cover north of Houston it will be a wash out. The news showed Kerrville where all the hotels are booked fifty miles due west of San Antonio. I have no desire to go to the farm outside of Segovia. Nice country there south of Junction. Of course you have to get off the highway to see it.

Be grateful you were not involved in the loss of life even if it is not your fault it can still effect you very unpleasantly.
