Has anyone been paying attention to SpaceX lately. They launched 3 or 4 missions this week. Their biggest issue right now is getting launch permits and pad time. They regularly move Astronauts to and from the ISS and Starlink is getting rave reviews in my town. I remember being herded into the school cafeteria to watch Alan Shepherd go up and down. Color me impressed.

Elon Musk knows how to get things done, I know a few people that are on Starlink… Cox cable, I expect to bid adieu soon.

I have looked into Starlink and it would beat the socks off of AT and mfing T.

“ Reusability allows SpaceX to refly the most expensive parts of the rocket, which in turn drives down the cost of space access.”
I am signing up, I have been a space cadet for 30-40 years.

His boring company looks good, but he doesn't have time to push it. His hyperloop should be class leading transport, but nobody is building that kind of stuff these days.

I admire all he has accomplished. His cars and the charging network are impressive.

I admire all he has accomplished. His cars and the charging network are impressive. Although I don't have any interest in the current electric cars, that's not really what Tesla is about. For every Tesla he sells, he makes a carbon credit that he can sell to Ford and General Motors for $40k. That's why the new pickup trucks are so expensive. It's like bit mining the government programs for money. It's just taking advantage of a government program. His first money came from selling PayPal and another financial company he created. He is a lot smarter than the average bear. When he's worried about Artificial Intelligence, he worries me. And SpaceX put another 4 Astronauts onto the ISS yesterday.

Their WI-FI may be the fastest and the best, but 120$ a month I cannot afford!

Their WI-FI may be the fastest and the best, but 120$ a month I cannot afford! Cox cable is $100 a month here, and it is iffy.

Their WI-FI may be the fastest and the best, but 120$ a month I cannot afford! A few families here share a hookup. Rave reviews in the county. We get good enough on 5G from T-Mobile for $40.

Verizon no 5g, AT and mfing T only slow net worst part is we are 35 miles north of downtown Houston as the crow flies. In fact if I drive one mile south I can see downtown. TV is from a direct tv dish because we can not get hard cable. All I can say is what the H double hockey sticks. The wires for service out here are so old they are made out of bronze Until I get unfrugal and break down and spend the 700 for equipment no Space X for me.

There aren't any wires out here besides old phone lines. Downtown Linden has fiber, but that's it.

So you are bragging that Linden is better than Magnolia Well, I don't think so. Downtown Magnolia is bigger than Linden and probably has fiber too. Outside of downtown, we have DSL or Hughesnet, or 5G.

Well we are four miles south of downtown but basically the whole town is just School zones and a few big churches. All the stores are on one of two HWYs that intersect though town.

We’ve seen 3 Vandenberg Falcon9 launches in just over 3 weeks! We drove out a few miles south of Green Valley tonight to get a better view and tonight was crystal clear from the horizon where the Falcon9 appeared just before MECO. While the second stage flew away with impressive sunset plumage while I watched the booster fly though it’s apex and the entry burn before it disappeared behind the horizon.

I need to pay attention to these launches, I doubt the view from where I live is very good though.
When I was up on the continental divide in Colorado last summer occurred at my uncles house the view is incredible, he pointed up to the sky to show us the string of satellites going overhead from SpaceX. It was pretty cool.

The second stage on the southern trajectory can be seen from back yards all over Phx and Tus but you need a clear night and unobstructed view of the western horizon to see the first stage.
I was handed dozens of cigars at PCA a couple of weeks ago but the highlight of the trip was $5 round trip on Elon’s Tesla Vegas Loup.

This is the SpaceX Heavy around the end of the last year. I admire the dedication and effort that went into putting this picture together. To plan where in the sky the moon would be at launch time and where to set up to get the shot.
