Late yesterday after Wife and Son hikeing to the back of property, Wife decided to get her cucumber cages ready to plant, stuck her hand in pile of leaves and got stung, didn’t want to go to urgent care, 3 Benadryl and 6 ibuprofen overnight I and my son took her to Abbeville General emg room, received a tetanus shot, anti biotic and Steriod shot. Doc said he had treated couple of snake bites she’s sleeping now.

I always wear gloves when working outside, NOW! I learned the hard way. If I'm digging through stuff, I either wear snake gloves or welding gloves depending on the perceived threat.

Sorry this happened.
Probably things could've been a hell of lot worse if stung by those invading, west-coast Japanese/Asian "murder" hornets.
With best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Yikes that's quite a reaction! Glad to see she's recovering and feeling good enough to get back out there. Smart man to not push the point, pride can be harder to swallow than any pill.
