Good morning all. Clouds are moving in today for spotty showers and cooler temps, but pretty typical April weather for these parts. Lighting up a bowl of Union Square in my Peterson A1 bulldog. There are a number of things on today’s agenda that mostly involve the kitchen remodel we’re in the middle of. It’s been a long time coming but starting to look like a kitchen again. I hope you all enjoy your day.

Currently smoking a bowl of Scottish Flake in the BBB Freestyle pot while slowly sipping my coffee and taking a break from reading a book written by a friend of mine. I'll finish up this pipe and then head back to the house. I'm sure that Timmy, the neighbor's cat, will be waiting for breakfast.

Happy Wednesday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob and coffee. It's 51, overcast with occasional rain here. Stronger weather is forecast for the afternoon. No yardwork today. I'm in no hurry to make alternate plans.

Morning Fog in the Peterson 314 from yesterday's find. I think there's a place for this little guy in my rotation; I don't know where my head was at when this one came in, but I took an instant dislike to it... Age and practice teaches us that the word instant has little value in the world of pipes and tobacco.
Hot coffee and aromatic tobacco were at the root of the above reflection.

Apertif in Il Ceppo full bent sandblast, don't pay attention to shape of bowl, too confusing with some shapes similar

Smoking Carolina Red Flake in a Preben Holm billiard. Weather can’t decide to be wet or pleasant, we’re in a fair stretch at least for a few minutes. Chores done for today so time to relax.

I’ve been smoking GH Rum Flake today in a Butz Choquin calabash. We had a heavy rain come through and it’s damp, so I’ve been having a difficult time keeping my tobacco dry.

Cracked a ten year old tin of Chenets cake at the pipe club meeting, smoked another bowl tonight. I never smoked it fresh, but the Perique in this one does not seem to be soft with age...pretty peppery horses in this one!

Good Thursday morning to all of the Patch, the Irish North West is grey. Very grey. But no mind, I've some 965 loaded in my Falcon Coolway Bent Dublin, looking forward to the weekend, hope you all have a good one! 😎

Good Morning! It's 55° here with a cloudy sky and everything is wet from last evening's thunderstorm. I have to pick up our grocery order from BJ'S and that'll be my chore for the afternoon. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of Peterson Flake in the BBB Two Star Special smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's 54° here with a still cloudy sky. Just lit up a bowl of Wessex Brown VA Flake in the BBB smooth billiard while occasionally sipping my coffee. Time to check the headline news.

Lunchtime here in the Irish North West, having the last of my sample of Bothy Flake in the Sav 305 Roma. This stuff is delicious, will be adding more to the cellar, 😋

Currently smoking a bowl of the last of the HH Pure VA Flake from the day jar and refilled it with fresh tobacco. Slowly sipping my coffee and watching another streaming episode of "Around the World in Eighty Days" on PBS. I'll finish up this pipe and then head back to the house.

2012 MM965 in my Doug Finlay bamboo Elephant Foot. Hopefully, I’ll have some time soon to take better pics of the pipes that followed me home from Chicago. Work has been quite busy since I managed to not look at work e-mail or chats for the week and a half that I had off. Second day back and still not caught up on e-mail.
