Stihl no Husky's starting the season with the same two I used Last year Stihl 461's they don't make em anymore. Boss got one new one stashed and 3 rebuilt plus rebuilt 440 I think I am good for awhile. Makes you wonder why that model would be discontinued...had a recall, but that can be fixed and part of newer models... fireandsaw.com/stihl-ms461-chainsaw/ New emissions law's

2013 Capstan Gold Ready Rubbed in my Doug Finlay bamboo Elephant Foot. I'm not a huge fan of the elephant foot shape, as such, but that elephant really does have some nice birds-eye on its tootsie.

I've got a couple of tins of it around here somewhere, along with a few other HU blends. Maybe it's time to crack one or two (if I can find them).

Good Saturday Morning! It's 47° and cloudy here in our town. This afternoon I have to make the supermarket run that was postponed from yesterday. Just lit up the first pipe of the day, fresh HH Pure VA Flake, in the Peterson Rosslare 106 smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a great weekend everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's now 47° and still cloudy here at first light. Just lit up the last of a bowl of Peterson Flake in the Peterson smooth billiard and refilled the day jar with fresh tobacco. Time to sip some more coffee and check the headline news.

Good morning folks 71 degrees in the swamp with espresso and a Capitello loaded with Piccadilly. Carrying coffee while using the walker is a adventure. Sleeping beauty is still crashed out hard as I prepare to meet the day.

I’ve been watching for an Elephant Foot with bamboo. This one is exactly how one should be grained: only straight grain on the sides and top and only birdseye front and back. Some carvers have started using sandblasted bamboo. That's what the striations are on the bamboo. This is my first pipe from Doug and I am really liking it. I’ve been busy catching up at work after being out for a week and a half. Once I have some time, I’ll be taking better pics and will post them when I do.

Good morning and Happy Saturday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob and coffee. It's 40 and cloudy here. May get a little rain or even see snowflakes today. I'll do some housekeeping in the cave today. Sis and BIL coming over tonight.
