Old Gowrie in an Ashton Old Church Canadian. Breaking out another sandblast Canadian/Liverpool to get ready, eh? It's a favorite shape. This round of PAD will focus on classic English brands, like Barling, Parker, Hardcastle, Comoy's, GBD, Loewe, Sasieni...Dunhill, if I can find one for the right price. They don't all have to be Canadian/Lumberman.

Good Morning! It's 58°, breezy, and damp here with a rain shower on the way as a cold front moves into the region. This afternoon I have to make the rounds to the hardware store, pharmacy, and then the supermarket. The first pipe of the day is a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Upshall smooth quarter-bent Dublin and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's 59°, cloudy, and damp here in the neighborhood. Currently smoking a bowl of Scottish Flake in the Upshall Dublin while sipping my coffee. Time to check the headline news.

Just lit up a bowl of Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake in the Upshall Dublin while slowly sipping my coffee and watching another streaming episode of "Around the World in Eighty Days" on PBS. I'll finish this pipe and then head back to the house.

Good morning and happy Friday. I’m having a bowl of 8 State Burley in a Peterson Army mount billiard. Gloomy and damp again today, but it may brighten up (or not). I’ve got a busy day today so happy to take a little pipe time before getting started. I hope you all have a good one.

Those markings don't hold up that well over the decades. My 49/50 Root Briar takes good light and a magnifying glass to make it out. More like he never looked to try and date and admitted so. Yes, the stampings were buffed down some, but are good enough that I could tell there was a patent number ending in /20 before pulling out my LED flashlight and lifting my glasses to look close. The dealer has 10 to 15 years younger eyes than I have. Well, I would have bought that pipe even if I couldn't read the name! 👍😁

Some Mississippi River in short sandblasted Ropp bulldog while sharpening a few more chains I found in the shed at Boss's. Getting ready for the season to start. Says the guy that gets such a fine edge, he trims his beard with a Husky chain saw. Stihl no Husky's starting the season with the same two I used Last year Stihl 461's they don't make em anymore. Boss got one new one stashed and 3 rebuilt plus rebuilt 440 I think I am good for awhile.

Happy Friday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob and coffee. It's 54, sunny and breezy here after a rainy night. Probably no yardwork today.

Half & Half in a M.M. cob, fresh evening coffee on the way. I remember their cigarettes from decades past. A tough old retired SFPD Officer I worked with gave me one and it was memorable. His usual brand.

On a crisp night staying in Monument valley, with a propane heater offering warmth, watching the sun go down, and Nightcap on tap….it really does not get any better.

Marlin Flake in the Eder Mathias blowfish: What a pipe, beautiful art deco vibe I'm getting urbino , hefty? Not very. It's on the heavy side for me, but not too bad, and I'm known to have a low tolerance for weight. Now having some Amphora Virginia as I continue breaking in this Charlestowne Landing cob.
