2013 Capstan Gold Ready Rubbed in my 1949 Dunhill Shell group 2 Billiard. Great finish. Thanks! I had been keeping my eye out for an old Shell with that old time classic craggy moon crater blast that old Dunhills are known for.

This is a review from Matches 860, also known as John Harden. He was a really excellent presence in the You Tube Pipe Community. The review is on Sir Walter Raleigh Regular. Thanks for posting that, Geoff. Hadn't watched one of John's old videos in quite some time.
Hey, Pete, remember a while back when I was saying that "Friday Savinelli" actually referred to a specific model that was smoked by a much loved YTPC guy who died very unexpectedly? This is the guy, and he's smoking his 673.
(Not trying to "correct" you on your usage. Just sharing the info on a guy who, I think, accidentally did the pipe community a lot of good.)

Good Saturday morning to all of the Patch, it's a beautiful, sunny morning here in the Irish North West, but some weather expected to move in later, starting off with some St. James Plug in the MM Country Gentleman, hope you all have a great day!

We're getting our weather right now -- rain and storm. Should be over by the time I'm up and about tomorrow (later today), but it'll still be windy as all hell.
Enjoy your Irish sunshine while it lasts!

Good Saturday Morning! It's a mild 61° here with a cloudy sky and one of the workshop doors is wide open. This afternoon I have mounds of laundry to do while goofing off between loads. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the BBB Two Star Special smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a great weekend everybody!

Just lit up a bowl of Wessex Brown VA Flake in the BBB smooth billiard while slowly sipping my coffee and watching a good WW2 spy movie with Gary Cooper on YouTube.

Good Morning Again! It's still 61° here with a brief thunderstorm passing through. Finishing up this bowl of Wessex Brown VA Flake and next will be Scottish Flake in the BBB smooth billiard. Time to sip some more coffee and check the headline news.

Good Saturday morning all. Settling into a bowl of Inns of Court in a 1964 Dunhill sandblast billiard. Going to take a trip to the Amish market before my wife gets home from her latest work trip. She loves old fashioned ham spread on Ritz crackers, and the Dutch make a mean ham spread. I hope you all enjoy your day!

Smoke a bowl of ODF in a square shank rusticated billiard on the way to the cabin. Smoke lasted over an hour, throughly enjoyed it

Late start to the morning. 2017 Brighton in my Jess Chonowitsch blasted Billiard. Green Mtn Ethiopia Supreme in my cup. An excellent flavor pairing, IMHO.

Happy Saturday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob and coffee. We had some overnight rain and a little more this morning. No yardwork today! It's 66 and overcast here, I'm going to move to the front porch.

Yes, I remember. Matches was very fond of his Savinellis and Haunted Bookshop. I think Savinelli even made a Matches860 model after he passed. I enjoy his videos. I'm glad that his family decided to keep his YouTube channel going in his honor.

Yeah, Eddie [last name forgotten] at The Pipe Nook organized that and got Savinelli to make a limited run of Matches Memorial 673s. The money went to John's widow, iirc.

Good Evening! It's 77° out here on the deck with a bit of a breeze and some dark clouds passing by. We're running the a/c right now just to get the dampness out of the house. Currently smoking a bowl of Bayou Morning Flake in the small Kaywoodie Relief Grain Apple while listening to streaming rock oldies and a glass of cold water on the side.

That's a beautiful pipe, Urb. Thanks, Russ. A lucky online find from a shop in the Netherlands. Lestrout once told me it was the best work he'd seen from Il Ceppo.
