As I perused the calendar, I noticed that noted forum member "Frankenstein" was born on the date we will have our meeting. He only made one post, I suppose the villagers got him...so our meeting will be dedicated in his honor.

Greetings fellow pipe smokers and friends!
I apologize for not getting an email out last month, between work and domestic duties I actually forgot about the meeting until a scant two hours before!
Fortunately, I made it but hope that my lack of communication did not lead anyone to think that there was no meeting.
Unless stated otherwise, all pipe club meetings take place on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 12:00, and pipe night meetings are on the fourth Wednesday at 17:00.
Therefore: Pipe Club meeting for this month will be next Saturday April 13th at 12:00
Pipe Night will be Wednesday April 24th at 17:00
We hope that you are enjoying the weather and making the most of it seeking opportunities to smoke your pipe outside, and we should be good for the next few months until we feel like we need to head to our cave.
The Chicago pipe show is nearing, if you have the time and resources, it could be a fun trip if you can make it...'The grandaddy of pipe shows"

Regionally, the Las Vegas International Pipe Show is going to take place in October, and it will be here before you know it.

Hotel rooms are currently available and the website says: "Your room must be booked by September 1, 2024 or while inventory lasts to receive the special rate."
Trust me...the rooms will sell out long before the cutoff date, if you are thinking about booking, go ahead and do so, they have a generous cancellation policy if your plans change, but there is no generous policy on saying I wish I had reserved before they sold out! 😉
Booking rooms and tickets to the show early are appreciated by the coordinators, trust me there is no profit in it for them, they just have understanding wives....if they can get the funding ahead of time it relieves a lot of financial pressure on two guys.
