Four or five years before my ma passed away, in 2014, i stuck an old 8pk pipe rack with some pipes behind a lamp on her dresser...today, getting ahead of the painters, we emptied the room and I found five long forgotten friends. Pete 307, in rough shape...Pete 314, in good shape, but small for my taste...a Mastercraft, in fine shape[ looks a bit like a Grabow freehand]...a little pick-axe{ish} pipe ,marked ROCKY, over West Germany...and a pipe I purchased from The Tinder Box, a craggy billiard ,flocked at the shank in gold & white acrylic with a military stem of the same material; it's marked, G. Vecchio, over Bantamauro Italy...after a good dusting and a few pipe-cleaners, I'm smoking some Eureka in it as I type.

Finding pipes sure beats losing them. Congrats on all the new pipes!

I found a few while cleaning out my house to sell a little while back (along with tons of pipe cleaners, but that’s another story). I’ve only been at this since 2015, but it was still nostalgic to discover a few pipes I bought early on. A Stanwell poty 2013 and another rusticated billiard, along with a long forgotten MM Country Gent. Brought back fond memories of sitting on my porch watching the neighbors walk by all while scorching my tongue on gloopy aromatics. After I cleaned them up they’re good little smokers and part of the rotation.
Glad you were reunited with some of your old friends as well!

I look forward to the day I find a lost pipe 😂. I'm not long enough in the hobby to lose any yet. The very hairs on their heads are numbered,😂

I lost a wonderful clay pipe that I had received at an auction, it had a pink tint and was awesome to try out new blends with. The only thing I can think of, it was left at the cigar lounge.🤷
