Have you ever had a loss of gustation or olfaction while smoking your pipe?

Not a full loss, but extreme dulling for sure from heavy smoking, especially with stronger flavored blends. It’s more often that I have that effect from particularly strongly spiced foods, and then realize it’s the case when I smoke and can barely taste or smell it.

Not that I've noticed. You used a lot of syllables in that question.

I get some dulling, too, but usually it's because I've smoked too many bowls in a day and accumulated some tongue bite.

Only when attending Pipe shows… and sometimes in pipe club meetings. daveinlax is to blame for the former… @darin for the latter. (Our first pipe club meeting at YeOld pipe shop Darin could not attend and he called the shop and bought a tin of DaVinci…we all brought Lat blends… it was a lat blend palooza…glad I dod not get pulled over, certified Lat drunk)
