A Chicago made Dr. Grabow Tru-Grain from around 1950 and a 1953 Dunhill Shell. Both are billiards.

I also have a 1950 Dunhill, but I have several that are older. My oldest is a 1898 NPW bulldog with an amber stem. It really smokes great, but I don't smoke it often because of the cracks running through the stem. It has a sterling band with the initials RDT.

Have you thought about getting a replacement stem made for It? The original for display and the acrylic or vulcanite for actual use.

The oldest would be some clays from the 17th century, mostly just as curiosities. They have extremely small bowls as tobacco was incredibly expensive in its first European century and they look much like a cutty, but with bulbous bowls. The photo is an example. A good chunk of my meerschaum collection dates to the 1820’s to 1840’s, large Austrian pipes.

It's got a bone screw tenon. Not really interested in a vulcanite or acrylic stem. I have hundreds of pipes so I don't need to smoke it.

My wife owns a pipe the seller dated to the 1890s. A small Panel made entirely from Amber. Multiple pieces layered.
Among pipes I smoke, my 1939 Dunhill Bruyere is the oldest positively dated. My BBB Best Make is 1930s to 1950s, but can’t be narrowed down more. I also have a late 30s to early 40s Barling which is retired due to a previous custodian terminally saturating it with Lakelands. I have quite a few pipes from the 1950s and 1960s.

I know that some of my Edwards pipes that were made in France are older then my 1951 Dunhill but I can't tell you the exact date.
