lol, I was thinking that. I enjoyed the first bowl so much I packed a second. The light isn’t the best but here’s an image that doesn’t do it justice. It is quite a looker in person. ![](https://i.postimg.cc/WpBxbgXn/IMG-4893.jpg) No, you can see, she's a beauty, Dan, lovely bird's-eye grain, the ring on the shank, very nice. Imma steal it.

Good Evening! It's 63° out here on the deck with a mix of sun, clouds, and blue sky. Smoking a bowl of Bayou Morning Flake in the Stanwell Silver Mount blasted billiard with a glass of cold water on the side. Enjoy your night everybody!

SPC Gentleman's Rum Vanilla in a Radice Underwood O twin bore oil cured billiard with a Cumberland spiral stem. Note that this isn't the usual acrylic stem Radice usually uses. Iced tea on the side. ![](https://i.postimg.cc/ss5njdrm/IMG-20210814-220800-01.jpg) That is a beautiful pipe, Ron. Thanks. It's well broken in and it smokes as well as any pipe I have smoked.

I mentioned in the Mail thread that Country Squire didn't give any information on the model, line, etc. Now that I have the pipe, I can see that it has a crosshair stamping with the following 4 numbers in the quadrants: 10 2 1 05.
According to Pipedia, the 10 is the shape number. Their chart of "usual" Caminetto shapes, however, doesn't include a 10. All the shape numbers are 3-digit, so I'm not sure what to make of that.
The second number is supposed to indicate the grade. A 2 just means a smooth pipe with a natural stain -- not one of the super high grades stamped 0 or 1.
The third number indicates the series. They give no further information on what the series numbers mean, so no idea what a 1 is.
The fourth number indicates the year of production, starting from either 1985 or 86. The 05 would mean my pipe was made in 1990 or 91, then.

I’m smoking my own blend in a vintage Stanwell HCA. I checked on the baby Robins being raised on top of my back door light earlier, thought I would share a photo of them. They seem to be doing well. ![](https://i.imgur.com/JIIKGDE.jpg)

I'm surprised their momma let you get that close. I keep a tray of water out for her and after I found her egg daddy dead in the driveway a few weeks back, I started putting out bread for her, even bought her some worms the other day. I don’t think that has raised me to friend status, but she does tolerate me.

Lane's Proper English in an Ascorti lovat, diet coke on the side. Do you mean Full English? If so, how is it? 😄 I've wanted to try it. It came in one of two huge shipments , from a fellow member who was selling off a few bulks...I just copied his label when i jarred it. I don't think it's a new issue; just good ole L.P.E. Cool smoking, complex enough to keep me coming back, and not at all fussy in the pipe.

The aurora was visible quite far south in the States, but not to me. Too much light pollution from the city.

Good Saturday Morning! It's a chilly 40° with a clear sky here in the neighborhood. On a whim yesterday, I reset the GFCI on the deck but didn't expect anything to happen. When I came out to the workshop earlier, I saw the light was on. Power restored! So, the heater is running and I don't need the cellphone flashlight to see what I'm doing. I'll still do some rewiring and put some new conduit, but not right away. Laundry and cat box cleaning are on The List for this afternoon. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Amorelli smooth bent Three Star and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!
