Don't you just hate it when a loose eyelash gets in your eye? You need better glue! But, yeah. Annoying as can be.

Friar's Bayou in a Hardcastle Royal Crown Windsor Canadian. Still on the back porch. Was visited by that young possum again.

Good Morning! It's 61° with a mostly cloudy sky here at dawn. My tobacco order arrived yesterday, the tins are stacked up on the workshop's tobacco table, and I just cleaned yesterday's pipe. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Don Carlos smooth bent Two Note with a fresh travel mugga coffee on the side. Have a good one everybody!

Good morning! Hope your headache eases Jon! I’ve been getting a lot of stiff necks lately from how I’m sleeping, no fun at all.
Starting with a big bowl of Inns of Court in a Sasieni rusticated billiard. It’s a good morning weather wise. There’s a bunch of errands that are need attention today, so I’m going to get it all done so I can enjoy the weekend. I hope you all have a good one.

Good Morning Again! It's 62° with a partly cloudy sky and bright sunlight streaming through the neighborhood trees here in our neighborhood. I just lit up a bowl of Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake in the Don Carlos while occasionally sipping my coffee. Time to check the headline news.

Happy Friday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob and coffee on the back porch. It's 65, sunny with a light breeze off the lake. Gonna take it easy for a while, then decide if more activity is required.

So, recent experience has compelled me to repeat myself. This Sutliff Crumble Kake Va Perique is one of the best tasting smokes I have ever had.
My early obsession was C&C Billy Budd Blonde. It was the first tobacco to cause me to crave the taste of the smoke. Then I became gaga over D@R Rimboche A.B.
Now the Crumble Kake.
It is hard to describe flavors, and not real accurate anyway, and not total agreement on what the words mean. But the experience is that with a mouth full of the smoke of this tobacco, you suddenly wonder why you ever smoked anything else in the world. The delicious comfort of your favorite Hudson Bay Blanket on a cold cold day. Or when a favorite piece of music suddenly unexpectedly plays and you love it all over again, (in my case an aria from a Mozart opera). Or when your spouse or significant other is spontaneously without prompt honestly glad to see you.
I smoked a bit last night, but got sleepy so I left the pipe and went to bed. This morning I picked it up and re-lit it with morning coffee, and was suddenly reminded that I am the king of the world in my bathrobe.
Folks, we say that we smoke. But really what we we have a relatively healthy way to
Fly me to the moon Let me play among the stars And let me see what spring is like On a-Jupiter and Mars...

Good Afternoon! It's 81° out here on the deck with a blue sky, some white clouds, and brilliant sunshine. I finally opened up the box of FVF that I bought last month and dried most of it out. I put about a third in a day jar for smoking and the rest will go into the cellar. Currently smoking a bowl of aged Peterson Flake in the Don Carlos and there's a glass of cold water on the side.

It's a little cooler here, Russ. 72 and sunny on the back deck. Had some lunch, now a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob. Going do some power relaxing.

Revisited some very old McBarrens H&H in a Becker Morta, nice, windy but hot, not too bad.

I was smoking SG Chocolate Flake yesterday, today I thought I would switch to GH Bob’s Chocolate Flake just for comparison’s sake, and because I like both of them.

What is the result of your comparison? I enjoyed Bob's but have never had the SG. The SG is a fuller bodied blend, stronger than the Bob’s, more Latakia presence but still only a seasoning. Lakeland type flavors are comparable. Bob’s is a touch sweeter, the SG might lean a little towards a darker chocolate effect, but I could be imagining that. Both similar but different enough to deserve their own place. They are both great in my opinion.
