Good Afternoon! It's a cool 70° out here on the deck with a cloudy sky and occasional sunshine. I just finished cleaning a couple of pipes while smoking a bowl of Scottish Flake in the 1951 Dunhill lovat. Listening to streaming smooth jazz and there's some leftover coffee on the side.

Brown Clunee in a sandblasted Parker lovat on the back deck. Pondering my next task, or if I'm finished for the day.

Hello All. I can't believe that I missed the opening of the month already... Been involved in so much these past several weeks that I don't even seem to have the time to light up let alone post a message. Luckily two classes have given us the summer off so that only leaves preparing for three services a week, two meetings and untold number of visits to the V.A. for regular maintenance... Having a bowl of H&H Sweet Cask in the Berkeley Bent... A bottle of water alongside...

I’m having a little fun smoking some tobaccos that I tend to ration too much due to scarcity, then hardly end up enjoying them at all. Right now I’m smoking late 1980’s to early 1990’s vintage Murray’s Erinmore Mixture in a Jyestha meerschaum.

Enjoying some Brown Clunee in a Parker Super Russet lumberman. Dumb name, it's a Canadian with a saddle stem. Always reminds me of the Monty Python lumberjack song.

Speaking of dumb names, I'm smoking some Friar's Bayou in a self-made, rusticated, fluted, drunken cherrywood. Still on the back deck, under the glow of the Edison lights.

3 P's in a Barling EXEL TVF lumberman. I haven't smoked this blend in ages. Still sitting on the back deck. Beautiful night. The fishflies appear to like the glow of the Edison lights.

Good Morning! It's 61° with a clear sky here and the high temperature should reach 85°. This afternoon I have to take my wife to the wound care clinic for her weekly treatment. Starting off the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Savinelli Venere 128 rusticated billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one everybody!

Janet's leg lymphedema has stabilized, but she still has water blisters on the skin of her lower legs that seem to be getting better although the swelling hasn't decreased that much. Thanks for asking.
