I watch Kent Rollins all of the time on Youtube. He's one of about five or six cooks that I enjoy watching. This is his latest video. This week Kent had to say goodbye to his dog. Saying goodbye to our pets is one of the hardest things we do in life. It's never easy, but Kent Rollins presented this beautifully and I thought it was a nice tribute to man's best friend.
Please don't watch it if this kind of thing upsets you or you are already dealing with loss. I know how hard it is.
But I'll leave it here for those that know that special bond between us and the animals we love and take into our homes.

I've watched quite a few of his videos and love his style. We've got a 12 yo Golden Retriever so it's only a matter of time. I'll check out the video later today.

I know how hard it is to lose a pet. A couple of years ago I lost my best friend, Rudy. He was a little red minpin with as much personality as any big dog and probably more bravery. Sweetest dog I ever had. When he knew I was sick, nothing else was more important, not even food, Rudy would be right there beside me until I was up and getting better. I probably will get another dog at some point. When the right one finds me. I hope you and your pet still get plenty of good times together, Darin. |

I watch KQED on Youtube because they always posts videos from Jaques Pepin and he is one of my favorites from way back. I watch Smokin' & Grillin with AB, have used a lot of his cajun recipes and love them. Wild Alaskan Company because I buy seafood from them. And Downshiftology for good recipes that are on the healthier side.
