Hello, my name is Brad im 34. I just started smoking pipe a couple months ago. I have found so much enjoyment in the hobby but mostly the history I just can't get enough of it. I look forward to being apart of this online community and learning as much as I can and maybe meet some fellow pipe smokers in real life. As of now I'm the only pipe smoker I know and I'm in search of a mentor in life and possibly pipe smoking could help me find that person. Anywho thank you for reading and I look forward to being apart of this very informative community. Happy piping everyone!

Also, don’t rush. Pipe smoking is about patience and a long term view. Don’t make the common newbie mistake of buying too many pipe or too much tobacco until you figure what you like and know you’re going to stick with it.

I went to the furniture city pipe society meeting last night in Grand Rapids and it was a great experience learned alot and got to try new tobaccos and met some great people. Before last night I had only smoked aromatics. I will be taking a trip to pauls pipe shop soon. I am considering restarting my Facebook to connect with more pipe smokers and I will join that group if I do. Thank you for the recommendation. |
