After talking to a friend he got me thinking about the weights of some of my favorite Cobs.
Country Gent. 1.90 oz
Mark Twain. 1.60 oz
General. 2.80 oz
Free hand. 2.30 oz
Diplomat. 1.30 oz
5th Ave. 1.50 oz
Thought this was interesting and had to share.

I stick to weighing mine by grams since that is how most of the e-tailers avertise, all my cobs are in the 36-42 gram range...the hefty corncob nation pipe of the year only weighs 44 grams, all of them are in my comfort zone.

Should I be concerned some of you dudes have gram scales? That's so they'll know when to ream'em Them 40 and 42 gram ones look like they maybe needing it soon. |
