I couldn’t resist immediately trying the rope tobacco my friend sent me from Brazil. I cut some off and I’m smoking it in a BC calabash.

I had two bowls of Storm Front, first in the Kaywoodie, then in the 804, with yet another bowl loaded in the Silver axe. I just can't do three bowls in a row, at least not today...I returned the S.F. jar to the cellar, and my gaze fell on the Bald Headed Teacher...I'm smoking that now, in a GBD New Standard straight bulldog, evening coffee on the side.

The family went out for dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. Friar's Bayou in the Friday cob before and after. Then, Riverboat Gambler in a sandblasted Charaton's Make billiard at home. Now, I think I'll have some Haunted bookshop in the Friday cob. Wishing a happy birthday to the Mrs., Pete! She says thanks!

Long and enjoyable day today. Started the same as any other day, with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob and coffee on the back porch. Then, it was off to a picnic. Brother-in-law and I grilled sausages for about a hundred people. Many brought side dishes. It was a great time getting together with so many friends. Of course, I brought a pipe and the usual tobaccos along. Got home, unpacked, put things away and had a bowl of Friar's Bayou in the barrel-shaped meerschaum. Now, I'm smoking a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob on the front porch. Bed is calling, I'm beat.

Ladies & Gentlemen, with the grace of God i am back with you, healthy and strong! I took 27 sea baths, remained in purpose unshaven for 16 days, drank a lot of beer-wine-ouzo, ate a lot of ice cream-pizza-souvlaki. I fed some stray cats, saved the life of a cicada that was drowning in the sea, luckily i didn't get sunburned, ruined a pair of flip-flops and forgot to bring 2 lighters (Zippo-Torch) with me and had trouble lighting up my pipe when it blew air on the beach Cafe. This is my humble Summer straw hats collection. I am smoking Captain Black Gold.

Good Sunday Morning! It's 56° with a mostly cloudy sky here at dawn. Nothing much planned for this afternoon, so I'll watch the Guardians game. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Amorelli smooth bent Three Star and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Happy Sunday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob and coffee on the back porch. Today will be a bit more laid-back than yesterday. Will take a walk through the yard and check on the garden.

Having another bowl of Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob on the back porch. Picked some vegetables from the garden. No tomatoes yet, except for cherry tomatoes. Got enough cucumbers for making a batch of fermented pickles.

Smoking a bowl of Storm Front that I loaded yesterday, the pipe is one that Pete{aka Silver} was kind enough to make just for me...the pipe, the Sliver Axe, is a real looker, and more important, a fine smoker that holds enough tobacco to last through two mugs of Sunday morning coffee.

A Mediterranean diet is the reccomended healthiest diet and we love Greek food. Ouzo is one of my favorite dishes, though we drink it the American was, straight up out of the freezer instead of diluted.

Pickles are made. We'll see how they are after 4 to 5 days of fermenting. Now, I'll start a bowl of Friar's Bayou in the Sunday cob on the back deck.
