Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob. Still on the front porch. I've got to remember this night in January. Skeeters got bad around me for a couple hours, then they went to bed and it was darn nice out there. Got a little buggy at daughter's house. Just fine here on the front porch. The candle jammed into the Chianti bottle must be doing the trick.

Another bowl of Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob. Still on the front porch, serenaded by an owl.

Good Saturday Morning! It's 55° with a clear sky here at dawn. Nothing much planned for this afternoon. Getting the smoking day started with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Don Carlos smooth bent Two Note and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a great weekend everybody!

Just lit up a bowl of Bayou Morning Flake in the MM General cobwarden while sipping my coffee and watching another episode of Mr. Moto with Peter Lorre.

Good morning, I’m smoking Atalaya in a Ser Jacopo calabash. Got up early to prep some dinner things since we’re having a few friends by this afternoon. Just finished up for a break and smoke. Very nice weather here today, and I hope you all have a good one.

Enjoyed a call from Gypo, as I loaded some spill tray mix into my Lumberman pipe. The call took me through most of the bowl and the whole mug of coffee...a fine start to a Saturday!

Happy Saturday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob and coffee on the front porch. Moved into the backyard to make my rounds through the garden. 74, sunny with a light breeze here. Great day for hanging out in the yard.

It's 77° with a clear sky, a cool breeze, and bright sunshine out here on the deck. The temperature will reach the upper 80°s later on during the day, so I'm enjoying this nice late morning while I can. Smoking a bowl of Scottish Flake in the Stanwell Silver Mount blasted billiard and there's a glass of cold water on the side. Time to clean some more pipes.

Tidied up the deck and patio, put the seat cushions on the furniture. Friar's Bayou in the barrel-shaped meerschaum. A little more coffee.

Iwan Ries' Dr. Bradley. First smoke but it's more nicotine heavy than I wanted at 7am so it might not be an all-day smoke. From what I'm sensing, their blends are the most burley heavy I've even tried.

Hearing about a new Sun Bear being released got it on my mind, so I popped a can of Sun Bear Mountain Flower and I’m smoking some in a BC calabash.

2006 McClelland Blakeney’s Best Guillotine-sliced Acadian ribbon in an MMC Elite Cadel reverse calabash cob. For years Brian Levine of Pipesmagazine Radio refused to mention his favorite tobacco, until after the closing of McClellands...he probably has a few pallets squirreled away.
