Happy Wednesday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob and coffee on the back porch. It's already 78 and a bit humid here. A breeze is keeping the air moving. Gonna get up to 86, maybe thunderstorms this afternoon. Gonna try to get some stuff done early.

Good Morning Again! It's 78°, humid, a bit breezy, and with a mix of clouds and sunshine out here on the deck. The forecast high temperature for today is 90°, so I decided to come outside and enjoy the quiet before the heat builds up. I'm smoking a bowl of Scottish Flake in the Stanwell Nordic, a good pipe that I haven't smoked in ages.

Taking another break, maybe some lunch. But first, some Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob. A mug of cold water accompanies.

Stopped for a bit of lunch inside. Came out to the back deck and things really heated up. 84, sunny and humid. Seems the breeze weakened some. Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob. Cold water accompanies.

I like the way This guy thinks. #Cobalier Take a replacement meerschaum bowl, remove the middle and find an Aristocob replacement bowl to glue in. I see them on Ebay from time to time. You could also turn a hardware rim if you have access to a lathe.

Cold water accompanies. Heat index hit 113 about 1pm. Real temp was 99. Still 99 but down to 108 feeling now. I guess the humidity dropped.

Finished my outdoor work for the day and relaxed for awhile in the coolness of the AC. On the front porch now, with a bowl of Riverboat Gambler in the barrel-shaped meerschaum.

Smoking my local b&m the corona smoke shops blend called hobbit weed It has a chocolate cherry, honey, and vanilla essence to it. Not a big fan of cherry flavored tobaccos so far, but this one is good.

The Tolkien estate cracked down on that sort of thing a while back. Lots of LOTR-type blend names had to be changed.

I was wondering why they changed names of other lotr themed blends. I am really enjoying trying new blends. Now i wanna get another pipe that's smaller for taste testing.

Before dinner and while grilling, I had some Five o'clock Shadow in the barrel-shaped meerschaum. After-dinner smoke is Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob out on the back porch. I had to douse myself with Deep Woods Off.
