I've only heard good things about BriarWorks pipes, including in several threads here. I have no reason to doubt they're good pipes and a good value.
But there appear to be a disproportionate number of them on the estate market. It seems there's a half dozen new ones (including Moonshine) every time Smokingpipes.com does an update.
Am I just imagining this? Maybe COVID ate my brains.
Or is there a reason people seem to cast them off more than you'd expect?

Haven't noticed that, but my guess would be it's just people "trading up", so to speak. BriarWorks is probably a popular brand for new pipe smokers.
Could be completely wrong.

I'd suspect the trading up theory as well. I love my Briarworks billiard; it's small and easy to fit in my pouch, but its also a good pipe. Wish they'd make a nosewarmer though.

You’d be surprised how many folks buy brand new pipes and smoke them several times and then trade them in or flip them for store credit to all the estate sellers. There are guys here at NASPC that buy new J. Alan pipes and smoke them a few months before they sell them.

It having 9mm filter and is reverse calabash as well. Here is photo of pipe.
