There has been an influx of new member registrations as of late, as well as an influx of spam. This has caused us to have to be more cautious about which registrations we approve, and often reject registrations because people did not follow the instructions during the registration process. Let me use this as a PSA for all people wanting to join the forum:
Please read the registration instructions carefully. There are specific requirements posted so that we can verify that you are not a bot, or some other sort of spammer. If these instructions aren't followed, your registration will be rejected. That being said, it does not mean that you cannot re-register and complete the process correctly.
I would like to avoid additional messages like I received today. This person was rejected because they did not follow the process, and this was the email I got... with my response. Clearly this person did not belong in this community anyway, so he may has well have been a bot or spammer.
