Wife doesn’t like Shines name, told her he’s the same color as my truck, I’ll call him Tundra, she didn’t like that one.! I like Tundra, but I still say he's a Dandy...when my Pop was growing up, he had a dog named Drum...I always wanted to use that one, but somehow they always ended up as Buddy or Buster...I had a Max at one time, and a black and tan coon hound named Skip. Whatever you call him, he looks like a mighty good dog! |

I am not prying, just saying. I have and that's the way it was done. I didn't name her pets nor did she mine. We compromised on most everything else.

I've named every pet I have had with my wive's, with their consent. I have a knack for the perfect dog name for the particular dog. I named Lacy as soon as I picked her up. We discussed several other names on the way home but we kept coming back to Lacy. I generally agree with Ron though. The master names the dog. If my wife didn't agree I would give in as it's her dog. I think Brad should be able to call Shine anything he wants, within the bounds of domestic tranquility.

He's still Shine wife is a very good person, not stubborn, said she didn't like Shine and that was the end of it. Vet had him down as Shine, little sucker cost me 2 boxes of cigars at the vet😂, he did very good, Doc says one of his trsticles hasn't dropped but that sometimes is normal, needs looking after though. Little sucker is a chow hound, wife gave him a piece of watermelon and he gobbled it up. Stays in his kennel in front of the fireplace all night without a peep, I'm the morning man, wife likes to sleep late, him and I after his business lounge on the porch, him eating and me smoking and drinking coffee, It's good to have a buddy!
