Now smoking 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. Watching the Mad Dog.

About half way through this bowl of D&R Vengeur in a 1977 straight black rusticated Sir Brent billiard with a silver band repair and a brown pearl grey acrylic stem. Have enough left for most of a bowl.

Getting down to the last of this tin of D & R Tobacco - TAPS VIP... many fine blends from D&R, but this one and Picayune are my favorites. Anyone know where I can find another few tins of the TAPS VIP? Thanks!

Supper was the last bowl of turkey chili from the pot with a little side salad. Now getting ready to fire up some Esoterica Penzance in a smooth 1/4 bent Altinok meerschaum bulldog with a 925 silver band, have another glass of ice tea with lemon and watch BBC followed by Nightly Business Report on PBS.

Relaxing after a wonderful steak and potato salad dinner with a bowl of Cope’s Escudo in a brown rusticated slight bend 1982 Savinelli Non Pareil 99 Acorn with a pearl brown lucite ferrule and stem. This is what today's Escudo should taste like. Watching Braves-Jays game.

A Tsuge aromatic that someone gave me a sample of in a Big Ben Kingline nosewarmer. I think it was Winter's Embrace. Not bad, nothing special.

61F and clear before daybreak, high expected to be in the upper 80s. Starting out with Uhle's Perfection Plug in an MM Country Gent, drinking Trader Joe's coffee with a little dark chocolate on the side, NPR on the radio and going for a walk at daybreak.
