Starting off my smoking day with Angler's Dream in a slight bend 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 grain etched with a smooth front with a black vulcanite stem. Simply Apple is my drink. Since Russ Ouellette created this blend that I spent money on, you'd think the least the guy would do is to take me fishing.

Now smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. Phone chatting with the flat headed pigeon-toed, knock-kneed varmit who made this pipe for me. I can't remember his name, but he's a scraggly rascal.

Lunch was a salad. Spent the morning whacking on my dead tree in the front yard with a 24 volt sawzall on a ladder. Getting it down slowly but need to hook a line to the remainder and pull it away from my electric service line pole with the F150 before making the final notch and cut with the chainsaw on the base. Sun is setting on my ability to do this stuff solo anymore, maybe the last time. Smoking 2011 Mac Baren Va #1 in a smooth, natural colored, 1/8 bent Reddog Pipe Rhodesian with a wooden inlaid stem by Basil Meadows in the work barn. Resting a little now in the afternoons as I can in retirement, drinking a Coors Light and planning on checking out Friday's undercard at Pimlico for Preakness weekend.

Now smoking 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. Braves lead the Jays 2-0. Molly's picked another fight with Suzy and they are rolling around on the floor. Guess they aren't big baseball fans.

69F already this morning. Going to be another warm one, no rain expected. Starting off with C&D Epiphany in a 1981 smooth, silver capped Peterson 307 System Star with a 9mm balsa filter, grabbing a Coke Zero from the fridge and heading out on the front porch.
