Greetings Fellow pipe Smokers!
If it seems like it has been forever since you have received an email from the pipe club, it is because it has been forever, or so it seems. Many of us were in Las Vegas for the Pipe Show during our regularly scheduled meeting, but others stayed back and carried on.
The pipe Show was a huge success this year, very well attended. I believe that records were set both in the number of vendors and attendance. Dave and Brian are really hitting it out of the park since they assumed taking over responsibilities of the show, it really was time for a re-boot a few years back and a finer group of gentlemen could not be found. I noticed a few "tweaks" this year, noticeably pre-registration taking place on Friday afternoon that really made a difference on Saturday morning, no more long lines...I would be remiss if I did not mention David and Brian's wives...they really do so much, and take a lot of burdens from the men, kudos to these wonderful ladies! Dave and Brian secured the venue at the Palace Station for the next two years, and if you have to plan ahead into next year, the dates for 2025 are already secured:

On a more local front...
There is an old saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", and nothing seems to be broken as we meet at Puros Cigar lounge, 😉
With the change in smoking laws some years back in Arizona it is a fine needle to thread in order to find a place that is willing to accommodate pipe smoking customers that are far more different in many ways than cigar smoking customers.
Thanks again to Mike Millar, Puros cigar Lounge checks off all the boxes:
Most importantly: They seem to be very appreciative of our presence
A large enough venue to accommodate us
And we have a sheltered place to smoke from blazing heat, and at other times a windy environment
They produce goods and services that allow them a revenue stream to justify hosting us
So...for the foreseeable future, lets continue meeting there, If things change in the future we can adapt, improvise, overcome.~ From the USMC
As always, The 2nd Saturday of the month: November 9th, 12 PM-?

We Look Forward to seeing you next Saturday!
