Okay, a week ago I got an ounce of Kentucky Flake in the mail. I cannot for the life of me find the baggie, and I've looked everywhere. So I've either lost it, or the tiny bit I have left in my pipe case that I take outside with me is all I have left. How could it have disappeared so quickly?? I guess I will have to order more....

I've had the same problem. I open a tin of something I really enjoy and a week later it's gone! Not sure what happens to it! 😜 I suspect the Cat.

He's eaten a couple of my pipes, but doesn't seem to be showing an interest in the tobacco. I think something more sinister is sneaking in to consume my pile of tobacco. Maybe the well known Tobacco Goblins that must live under my bed. Would explain why Eddie (the dog) suddenly barks at nothing. Next time, I'll take more notice and try and catch the little thieves!

Yep, tobacco gnomes. Everyone has those theiving little burgers hanging around their cellars.

I feed the local stray cats, but one had been pre-owned and had a tatty collar, and came in the house and became Indoor Cat. It just started jumping on my pipe table and scattering the pipes on the floor and the damn thing sheds. Glad my meershaum hasn't broken yet, but saying NO! and pushing it off wasn't working, so I had to smack it and shove it off. Now it's all mad at me. Pretty sure it's waiting for me to fall asleep.

No cats here but three dogs. As I haven´t noticed any pipe-breath on them it must be gnomes....

Molly just likes the steal the pipe cleaners One of our two cats would do that if I left them out. Anythingy fuzzy, scratchy and portable gets carried off.

AHA! I found the missing baggie. Evidently the gnomes hid it under some tobacco tins so they could help themselves at their leisure, because there isn't much left....

Send them my way, will you Don? Not that I need it, but you can never have too much in your cellar.

Bad idea dude; every time a tobacco elf adds to your stash, you lose a sock in the dryer.

What I was never able to figure out was how I was able to lose my TV remote once in my one bedroom apartment. When the TV sat ON my damn computer table, and the remote lived by my left hand. And my computer chair was the only chair in the house; there was no couch or other furniture. I mean, once you've checked the one closet and the freezer...
I blame the bourbon brownies.
