Returning to pipes after a 10 year hiatus. Took me that long to kick the cigarette habit so I can truly enjoy the pleasures of the pipe. Unfortunately I got rid of all my pipes and tobacco when I quit smoking so I'm starting over from scratch.
Looking forward to catching up on the pipe world with the help of the members of this group.
Welcome to the Patch. Nothing wrong with a fresh start. We're great about advising people about how to "invest" their money.
Indeed! These guys have ruined me. I'm actually buying smoky blends and leaning toward dark fired Kentucky. The horror! lol. And papipeguy is particularly bad about encouraging others to buy more and more pipes (i believe to justify his own pipe-acquisition-disorder)
Welcome from WV! Look forward to seeing you around the discussions
She came in with a smile and a pipe. A study of contradictions, she seemed to understand more than most. Eyes shining with humor and a comforting, easy to talk to demeanor. She was a goddess in mortal skin. She raised a glass and said, "Confusion to the memory of Newton."
Welcome to the site...I had a 25 year hiatus until a few years back also.....all I left behind was one pipe and one blend.
"Governments may think and say as they like, but force cannot be eliminated, and it is the only real and unanswerable power. We are told that the pen is mightier than the sword, but I know which of these weapons I would choose."~Sir Adrian
"People are not made better by a briar. An idiot before smoking a pipe is still an idiot after smoking a pipe, they're just more likely to speak less drivel with something in their mouth. For that, all society should be grateful."
