Hello everyone, new memeber from NY here. I tend to prefer Latakia blends, but have tried others as well. Prefer meer pipes, have bought and sold (used or not) several on eBay, some I really wish I'd kept! Currently using a short, thick walled lattice carved meer for whatever I try, which right now includes: Mac Baren Navy Flake (80's), Orlik Golden Sliced, Penzance & Stonehaven. I sure do miss Mississippi Mud and da Vinci, both from C&D of course, and look forward to trying different blends in time.

Welcome! Are you from the NYC area, or upstate? Your comment about C&D Da Vinci and Miss Mud implies they are passe. I didn't check their origin dates vs. the FDA 2007 Deeming deadline, but AFAIK they are currently very available.
