Could not find this available online. Finally got some at my local B&M. No finer shop exists than Edwards Pipes and Tobacco in Englewood, CO. I expect I will love it. An old standard that gets great marks from people whose reviews I have found most reliable.

Great smoke. I have one tin left that I am holding onto. Figure I will pop it at 5 years.

Anyway. it's a great smoke. One of my favorites. A tin doesn't last long. Ages well; I have one 10 year old tin left. If you like it enough as an all day smoke it is available in bulk from time to time at 4Noggins.

Great pick up Don. Didn't realize this one was getting hard to find but not surprised. Their Big 3 which also includes Hal O' the Wynd and Marlin Flake are all pretty tasty. I'm about half way through a tin of Marlin Flake and have three more in the cellar. Think you'll enjoy Old Gowrie.

Rattray blends are always made from top shelf leaf. I may not have liked every one that I smoked but the quality is excellent. Hal O' the Wynd is in my rotation as well as Bagpiper's Dream. Of the very few aros I smoke BD is at the top of the list.

From a marketing standpoint, any blend with a Scottish name appeals to me.
I am at the point that I really don't need to cellar anymore, but all the names mentioned in this thread I lack, but still desire.

Rattray's is the sleeper in everyone's cellar . My own favorites are Three Noggins and Black Mallory .

Rattray's is an interesting enterprise. All of the VA's I like from them supposedly have Perique but damned if I can taste any. Old Gowrie, Hal o the Wynd and Marlin Flake. Never tried the ARO's and they make a lot of them.

I cellar both Old Gowrie and Marlin Flake, both are top ten Virginias IMHO.

Like that! OG is my favourite, with HOTW a close 2nd and Marlin Flake 3rd. With a couple of years on, they're especially good!
