Doing steaks and lobster tails on the grill for my wife this afternoon. I lost my parents a few years ago but today would have been their 68th wedding anniversary. So all are in my thoughts today.

I lost my mom when I was 17, although the years have flown by, the sense of loss still remains.
I ran across this while doing my morning reading.

The wife was treated to a manicure and a nice lunch by our daughter . I was impressed by the way my daughter handed back my credit card on the sly . My own mother has been gone for many years now , all I remember is love .

It was a good day here ... motorcycle ride followed by some gardening and ending in a Shrimp Scampi and Lobster dinner.
Also, sent $200 to the oldest step-daughter to fix her car and take the kids out to dinner.

There's a lot to do still but it's been great so far, Charlie ... thanks! You guys will need to come up for a BBQ one of these days.
