It has been a noisy day here.(road destruction crew tore up the street beside our house, readying it to be paved again, Noisy process.) Not being at my computer, several bowls of baccy have been smoked earlier today. Currently, to the wife's delight, I'm puffing some of Low Country's Strawberry. Earlier was C&D's Crooner, Low Country Natural Virginia and burley, maybe more strawberry. Current pipe is the Al Pascia Curvy, in yellow.

That's a neat pipe you've got, Grumpy. Id never heard of an Al Pascia. Is that a phenolic resin or a brightly painted briar?

Lookin' downright homey around here. Now smoking Mac Baren Vanilla Cream Flake in a MM Marcus.* More java in the mug. Keep the embers burning.
* just broke in and proving to be rather adept with flakes. general dimensions and conical bowl are making for a very satisfactory burn rate.

Isn't that Marcus the MM Twain with a shortened shank and stem and fancy band? If so, is that bowl the same size? Been thinking of getting one or two of them. The Mark Twain is just an excellent cob overall.

The Mark Twain is just an excellent cob overall. To a degree. Analogy: a Legend and a Twain had a baby. Features a quasi bamboo shank (like a MacArthur) and is non-filtered. I'm a Twain fan as well, but don't regret this purchase (though costing a $1.00 more than a Twain is questionable). Try one. It stands on its own and I think you'd like it.

Savinelli De Luxe Milano 313 filled with the last of a jar of Angler's Dream. Only 3 jars left in the cellar until UPS delivers more tomorrow. I was one of the lucky few to get an order in while they mistakenly had the ordering page up early during the 25% off sale last week. The order page should be back up at the end of the month.

After dinner smoke of Carter Hall in a bent MM General. A final cup of joe before the sun sets and then it will be onto my wild evening libation, a diet soda. A good evening's smoke your way.
