Good morning all, starting the day with Irish Flake in the Peterson Grafton B10. Pipe in one hand and coffee in the other trying to shake off the cob webs.

Are you the lucky devil that got that beaut for $36 on eBay? Very nice pipe. Yup! Every once in a while I get lucky. Now, no more eBay for me for a while. I got too lucky last week.

I'm strong to the finish, cause I eats me spinach, I'm Grumpy the sailor man! Toot Toot! I have loaded a Nording Sailor with C&D's Crooner, and I am now puffing it while wearing a Skipper's cap like Popeye above.
Happy Smoking!

So many lovely and beautiful pipes are being displayed here at the Briarpatch. It's enough to set off one's P.A.D.S. Sparking off the "I gotta have it" of the syndrome. I am currently puffing some Low Country Natural Virginia and Burley in a Peterson Kildare Sandblasted XL90 bent billiard. To me, it looks good and smoke quite nicely.

Half way through this bowl of Aged Rotary Navy Cut in a post WW2 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 Bulldog with a sterling silver band. Going through gift tobaccos that I received from a new friend; only one of the twelve jars have I tried before. I never cease to be amazed by the generosity of fellow pipe smokers.

Now smoking a Marsh Wheeling long, thin cigar. Never tried one before and as the company is out of business, this is my shot at it! So far, so good!

Lately I seem to be doing my bit to help keep Mac Baren afloat. Carrying on that good work with Virginia No.1 in the Medico Husky.

I have some of my own blend, (a latakia bomb at that) in a Nording Sailor. The Orange one as earlier. My blend is simple, 1 pound of latakia, a half pound of dark burley and a quarter pound of bright virginia, with a spoonful of anise seed tossed in. I may experiment to see just what I can blend in the near future.

I now have a Peterson Donegal Rocky (XL 339) Fishtail, stuffed with Cornell & Diehl Crooner. The pipe looks good but hangs nicely, so clenching is no problem.
