Free Tobacco Guidelines
1. Please limit yourself to no more than three or four selections so others will have a chance to get some as well. You may list alternatives in the event your other choices are taken. 2. Every thing but unopened tins will be sent in baggies. 3. When your tobacco arrives, please check the postage on the envelope. If it is three dollars or less then we are good. If over three dollars, please send one or two dollars to the return address on the envelope to help with the shipping costs. If you have a problem with this rule, don't play. 4. If more than one baggie/tin of a single tobacco is available, please limit your self to one. If no one wants the other I will get in contact with you to see if you would like to have it. 5. I hope to have everything in the mail next week but sh*t happens and if I don't, I don't. 6. All complaints, suggestions, ways you would have done things, or basically anything that could be considered whining should be sent to bite me @ piss off .com

Now for someone who packs up toys and goes home and is back posting this, that is over inflated ego!

As to anyone else that wants to get snarky, I stayed because one of the few people here I consider a friend asked me too. I am sure he would love to hear from you. Just PM me for his name.

Nice offer - I'm interested in the Escudo. I am about to finish an older tin and would enjoy a comparison.

Here is where this person called me rude and he was packing up his wagon and headed to greener pastures! Dave, I think there was a fairly significant misunderstanding here. Can't we agree anybody giving away free tobacco is a pretty good dude?

I have been giving things away for years. Not once have I looked for an attaboy or posted a thread. Always on my dime to and I AM ON A FIXED INCOME AS ARE MOST HERE. I don't appreciate clever and that is what this person attempted.

I don't appreciate clever and that is what this person attempted. Your generosity has been recognized here Dave and greatly appreciated; however, we disagree Sammy was attempting to be clever. At best, he may not have sufficiently stated his intentions clearly enough for most of us to understand in his original post but that doesn't detract from his own generosity. You and I are both just a couple of old guys on fixed incomes; nevertheless, I don't have problems with anybody posting a generous offer or others giving them credit for doing so. It's not bad form in my book. Quite the contrary, IMHO it's what makes a forum like this work. I'm glad Sammy came back, took the time to post and hope others enjoy the fruits.

I have been giving things away for years. Not once have I looked for an attaboy or posted a thread. Always on my dime to and I AM ON A FIXED INCOME AS ARE MOST HERE. I don't appreciate clever and that is what this person attempted. It seems impossible to make a statement without someone lambasting you for it. It is a shame a person is not believed if they say something vaguely in an attempt to keep private matters private. However it does not appear that this will ever be settled so that I can simply give away some tobacco unless I broadcast for everyone things I prefer to keep to myself. So be it. I am, according to four different doctors as well as the government of the United States, and have been since age 6, disabled due to a neurological disorder that I was born with. As such I draw a monthly disability check from Social Security (as an adult disabled since youth) that puts me at an annual income slightly above the poverty line. The tobacco I am giving away is an accumulation of stuff I have tried over the last two years that I didn't like. I wanted nothing in return and still do not except a couple dollars in shipping over three dollars. That seems fair to me. I will no longer address this subject in this thread or any other. Believe if you wish or do not. If you don't then in most likelihood you don't know me. Additionally any questions or statements regarding things about my private life mentioned here will be completely ignored. It is not something I discuss with anyone.

Say what you want, read his intentions as they are posted. Think what you want about this person that is your choice. For me, I cannot undo first impressions.
I will sit here and wait for the shoe to drop when the unspoken comes alive. Remember in life there is never something for nothing.
And living on a fixed income sucks. Life also suck at times. That is why we choose what path we go down and how long we are on it.
Later guys, till the next time John R
