So I had a question and I figured this was the best place to post it. Im new to pipe smoking and I have 5 pretty good pipes now. However I would still like to get more, but as I'm sure many of you know pipes can be expensive. Now. I'm not asking for people to give me pipes for nothing, but I was wandering if anyone knew of any contest or giveaways that can be entered. Seems like everything these days has some of those on occasion, so I was just curious if anybody knew of any?

Pipes and Cigars is having a sale next month on Missouri Meerschaums, 15% off. Promo code is JULY17. Stock up on those and enough Solani Aged Burley Flake to get over $99 and you'll also get free shipping. Best way in the world to begin your day with a hot cup of java.

We've seen pipes that folks bought at antique stores for very little money. With a little elbow grease they have brought them back to remarkable condition. It'll also give you a chance to sharpen your skills at moderate restoration.

Restoring neglected estate pipes is definitely the best way to get your hands on good pipes for next to nothing or exclusive pipe at a great discount. Forums like this are chockfull with tips and tricks and how-to´s. So start reading until you feel you know what to do, then get a really cheap pipe from Ebay, a garage sale or even from one of us and go for it. You will be amazed how great they can come out again! And of course - ask away! Example - the 1 Euro Dunhill:

+1 ... Performance to price ratio is hard to beat with Cobs. Get the ones with solid plugs. I'll be retiring a few of the more chewed-up ones with this sale.

I'm going to be having a contest in the near future (to be announced) where one of my pipes is the Prize or maybe the Booby Prize depending on how you look at it. The entry fee is only $175 and everyone's a wiener! I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself.
