I'm currently in the process of making cardigans for my neices and their dauhters. I've made two child sized ones, this was my first adult sized one and my neice loves it.

Nice work! My wife is a quilter, so I know handmade items are not easy and worth a lot (sentimental) especially to those who receive them. Sure you can go buy something made in a factory but it's not the same as when someone takes the time to hand craft an item. Kinda like pipes!

Wow wow wow. I have shown that picture to some friends of mine and the universal opinion is wow wow wow. One friend mentioned that it will be in that family for generations.
A ton of work went into it, and a ton of love. Just great.

A resurrected thread, but I've gotta agree with Jeff! That's some talent you've got there, Lady Margaret.

Devine, Lady M:
Knit one, purl two.... If I was a girl....I'd wear that schmata Nice work.
I had an aunt that could knit/crochet anything, just by looking at it. When I was a kid, I remember sitting, and watching her working yarn and needles....and a few days later, a sweater would be made. Amazing.
Try passing on your knowledge to the next generation. Making anything "by hand", is quickly dying out.
