Last night in chat the topic of Casey Jones Hero's blend being a bastardized 1Q blend from Lane so I did a side by side and want to know any thoughts from others. I found Hero's Blend MUCH more mellow, the smoke didn't burn in any way at all...the aroma had a more "natural" smell and even tho they jar aroma was much the same..1Q had a very acrid smell that burned the nose some. Am I just being Wooed by slick packaging or does anyone else find this to be the case as well??

When anyone says vanilla blend made by Lane we all think 1Q and RLP6 or perhaps LL-7 . But hey those blends are relabeled and called everything under the sun when purchased from the B/M stores . Then Lane has been known to slap some of its wares into a tin with a shiny new name . If you like it that is all that matters but I will still jab you with a stick for smoking it .

Well I needed an empty jar to put in a bag of tobacco and I added to my 1Q jar...problem solved!
