Peterson has a rich history in the pipe world, but often I think some of their tobaccos are overlooked. They run the gamut from aromatic to kick you in the arse Nicotine bombs. So, what is your favorite and why?
Personally, I'm a big fan of Peterson University Flake. I keep a few tins in the cellar and will break one out once in awhile when the mood strikes me. It's strong and has a nice flavor. I have always pegged it as plum/berry like, but I'm not 100% sure. Doesn't matter, tastes great, has a good kick and has a suitable room note as well.

Right now it's Perfect Plug (aka 3P). With the change in manufacturing of the older blends to Rattray I'm a bit confused as to what's what.

Irish Flake ... I've tried the Rattray version "Sterling Flake" and it's not quite the same.

University Flake for me as well. It did change after it moved manufacturers and I have yet to try Wallace Flake, but I still like the new square tin version quite a bit. 3P is a close second.

3P, Irish Flake and Irish Oak are all favorites. University Flake is quite good as well, especially for late-night smoking!

My favorite of now, would be Hyde Park. I also like Old Dublin, London Mixture, University Flake, and Irish Flake. I have some Perfect Plug, but have not tried it out yet.

U flake is some damn fine stuff. It's a once in awhile treat. Irish Oak is pretty damn good too. If you haven't tried it, give it a go. You might find a new favorite.

Irish Flake is my favorite. It used to be the tobacco I smoked the most.

Irish Flake dominates the cellar and is often my go-to choice if I'm undecided on what to smoke. It always satisfies. A few tins of UF in the cellar for a change of pace, especially during Summer. Once in a blue moon a tin of Hyde Park. Surprisingly good if dried out enough. And once a year a tin of Connoiseur's Choice; usually at Christmas; a rich sweet aromatic like christmas pudding with a surprisingly stout nic hit. 3P's a new favourite and will join the rotation.
Tried most of the rest, because it's the only decent tobacco freely available in South Africa, but do not really get on with any of them.

My favorites are Old Dublin, Sherlock Holmes, and Irish Oak, in that order today but that order changes frequently, lol.

Connoisseur's Choice. A nice light, dry smoking Va based Aro with no goopy Burley!
