Basil more or less burned out on forums, but he's also very busy. He's been trying to get into his mobile home, which he moved, and the results would have made the writers of Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream Home blush. And he often works six days a week. That leaves him with little play time, though, as John noted, he still makes pipes, and pens, too. You can see what's going on at his Facebook page. Ahah, that's why I never found a web site for him, then.

He did have a web site, but when it came time to renew, the hosting site wanted to double the charge. Basil decided to let it go, and I don't blame him for that. |

Jim told me about his Bing from Basil so I had to get one. Basil is a true gentleman and the pipe is wonderful.  Love these Basil Meadows Merchant Service pipes! 👍 P.S. How long are these pipes? |

How long are these pipes? 6 and 3/4 quarter inches. That's the length the Merchant Service Bings were. Basil made accurate copies because he had accurate specs for the pipes. |
