WOW, that was kind of in-your-face. The second one had some additional personalization, but the first part was basically identical. Changing mustard lid to mayonnaise lid doesn't fool anyone (or vice versa, not sure which one was written first)

Yes couldn't be otherwise. May he writes articles under a multitude of pen names. It is definitely two different authors, the second posted article is from an editor of news source, the first one is dated after the second and he is "retired from the Paris Parks and Recreation Department". Describing a pipe cleaner as an auger is appropriate I guess, but I have never seen it described as such from several years of reading threads...to come up twice, just a few days apart seems a bit "coincidental."
