Happy Fathers Day to everyone . My hat is off to all you guys who have drank coffee from a ugly mug , attended terrible plays ,went to work when you were sick, did without because the kids needed new shoes and clothes , read really bad books over and over and over, tied shoes, dried tears, passed on knowledge , assembled toys , repaired bikes, stepped on a Lego while barefoot , toted a diaper bag that did not match your outfit and all those other things only dads know about . THANKS DADS

I was Daddy's girl, and he was my hero. This was taken at the family cabin. I apologize for the cheesecake photo (lol) but this one shows I inherited my Dad's hair

...being a Dad is not an easy task...with 6 sons ages 15 to 34, I've been "around-the-block" more than I care to remember...that said, I wish all the other Dads a happy and safe Father's Day and will smoke several bowls in "our" honor...

Most things which are worth doing aren't usually a "Once and Done" thing, rather often a daily grind, done day after day, with no end in sight, or sought. Parenting, being a Father or Mother is one of these jobs. It's the most tiring, troublesome yet rewarding thing you can do. Like being a husband or wife, parenting reward is the exchange of love. Loving and being loved is the greatest reward. Doing one's duties of being a spouse or parent , the exchange of love, is what the true meaning of life is.
