My total pipe collection is about 25 total, pretty minor compared to others. And I really don't have any that I don't enjoy smoking. That being said, I restore and sell used/estate pipes (as some of you already know), and I also restore pipes for others, including one good customer who sends them by the box full. Probably 3/4 of my pipes are restored estates, which I've acquired by trading for restoration work. But there are two I have that really shine. And by that I mean you could stuff 'em with sawdust...and it would taste good. The first is a Mastro de Paja (1 sun) that I acquired about 6 months ago: ....and the second is a Dennis Ruth Freehand:

Like both. Caught a case of freehand fever myself lately. Enjoy!

Very nice!!! The 2nd one really catches my eye! Thanks. Dennis Ruth made pipes in the 1970's - 1980's in a tobacco shop in Des Moines, IA. Made some great freehand pipes, and what I like about his freehand's is that they're smaller and more manageable then those mack trucks they make in Denmark (nothing against Danish pipe makers, just don't care for their ginormous freehand's). All his pipes were hand made, very high quality, and for the most part can be had for $60 - $90.....if you can find one.

You do very nice work! Due to an upcoming purchase (will post once everything falls into place and the story behind the pipe) I have to stay away from your site until I replenish my "pipe and baccy fund". Been on on a spending spree, but wouldn't hesitate buying some of your very well done cleaned up estates.

Hey Margaret....Look what I found.....your Savinelli Punto Oro Mister G.....
AWESOME! Thank you Now I have something to look at until it arrives. It looks like a 904 shape, which I love. now if I can just find a Virginia 904....
