I'm here. I realize I am somewhat of a controversial figure, equal parts antagonist and goober, but I hope to not screw this place up.
I view forums as an ecosystem, dating back to my days on dial-up BBSes. Some are focal points of the community, and somewhat generic because they must be a place for everyone. Others are more specific, and this allows the people there to get more in depth into what they're into.
That being said, I view this forum as a place that Pipes Magazine and other big forum should embrace as a complement to what they do. From this specialization, many good things come...
As my user profile suggests, I like a bunch of things: good books, DEATH METAL, fine tobacco blends. I look forward to "interfacing" (nerdspeak) with you all.
